Vaucluse – House clear-out

This was a seriously grand property in the 1960s and not a cent has been spent since. The home has been accumulating clutter for over 50 years. The widower has relocated to a nursing home and needed to sell the property to pay for future plans. A management company hired us to make this house a clear and clean blank canvas, presentable for sale ASAP.

How we helped

We decluttered 11 tonnes of items, 3 tonnes of paper, and donated 4 tonnes. There were two 600kg safes on the top floor which were carefully manhandled down the stairs and then crane lifted away. The house needed to be treated gently during the clearing process as more damage could have been easily caused.

The Result

The property is prepared ready to sell. There was no budget for any maintenance other than essentials. The clearing has put the property in a position to present well for the internet photo pictorial, and interest potential buyers to attend the open home inspection.
